Our Mission

Our mission is to be a conduit through which people are brought into a relationship with Jesus Christ and then taught how to live a God honoring life in a fallen world. We call this reaching and teaching and believe that faith in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, is the only way to eternal life. In short, We exist to make Jesus known.

Our Values

Reaching People for Christ

Applying the Bible to everyday life

Becoming like Christ

Bending the Knee in Prayer

Bowing the heart in worship

Building healthy relationships

Serving in the name of Christ

Our Beliefs

We believe there is one and only one living and true God, the creator and sustainer of all things visible and invisible, infinite in holiness and all His perfections. God is all powerful and all knowing; and His perfect knowledge extends to all things, past, present, and future, including the future decisions of His free creatures. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in divine perfection and without division of nature, essence, or being, yet executing distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption. To God we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience. (Gen 1:1, 26; Deut 6:4; Matt 3:16-17; 28:19; John 1:1, 3; 4:24; 2 Cor 13:14; Col 1:16-17; 1 Tim 1:17)

What to Expect

Expect to be welcomed.

We want you to feel welcome here. God has changed our lives and we want you to experience that as well. We are normal people, who don’t have it all together, but we know the God who does. So come as you are. Dress how you are comfortable. On any given Sunday, you’ll find people wearing anything from suits to jeans.

Expect to learn something.

Learning and applying God’s Word to everyday life is the key to a personal relationship with Christ. That is why Sunday School plays such a vital role in spiritual growth and development. Our Bible study groups also provide time for us to be together with other believers where questions can be asked, discussions can occur and fellowship can take place. Pathway has a class for everyone from the nursery to senior adults. classes start each Sunday Morning at 9:45.

Expect to worship.

Jesus taught us to worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24). Therefore, our worship times at Pathway are filled with both expressive times of celebrating and solemn times of reflecting on the truths of God that are found in the Bible. Our song selection includes a blend of contemporary and traditional music.

Expect to hear a sermon rooted firmly in the Bible.

We take the Word of God seriously around here and don’t just sprinkle it in here and there for good measure. You don’t need to hear what we think about stuff, you need to hear what God thinks and that can only be found in what He has revealed to us in the Scriptures. Typically, Pastor Charles preaches a series of sermons from a Book of the Bible that we work through verse by verse for several weeks and months. This forces us into the full counsel of God, even the parts most people tend to neglect. Our Sunday morning services typically end around noon.

Expect to hear the gospel.

What Christ has done for us in His death and resurrection is the climax of all Scripture, and every page of the Bible points to Him in some way. At Pathway, we are constantly connecting whatever passage of Scripture we are studying to the work of Christ that saves sinners like us. Want to know what we mean by “the Gospel”?
